When Life Gives You Grapes, Make Fine Wine.

The John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center is pleased to present Dan Leese presenting, "When Life Gives You Grapes, Make Fine Wine" on November 29, 2006, in the John Deere Auditorium (Curris Business Building 109) on the University of Northern Iowa campus at 4 p.m.

Dan Leese, UNI alumnus, worked in the beer industry while attending UNI. He moved on to become the Managing Director for Berringer Blass Wine Estates, a subsidiary of Foster's Brewing Company of Australia, managing 16 wineries in the U.S., Europe, and Australia. Now he has left Berringer/Foster's and start a new wine company, Axiom, in Sonoma, California. Hear the story of how a guy who used to sell bagels on the corner of College & 23rd is now a big cheese in the wine business.
